I just want all qualifying military spouses to know about a special grant program offering $4,000 to go back to school! Meditec is honored to be working with the Department of Defense's expanded Military Spouse Career Advancement Accounts (MyCAA) program to provide medical and legal online training at no cost to the military spouses who work hard daily to truly support our troops. Our e-Learning computer-based courses incorporate proven training methods to ensure the highest rate of information retention while also offering the convenience and flexibility of a self-paced course. Email me if you want information on career training.
Im actually a student at Meditec and military spouse. I wouldnt discuss my wages on a forum and not quite sure of the intent of the question. I see this information isnt welcome to some but might help some military spouses get out of a rut like myself.
and super A you left off part of the sentence i said i see it isnt welcome to some....I am removing the post because I wasnt aware of what kind of site this is, and I dont think I am suppose to be promoting my school on here so ive already pm'd the MOD to take it down...
is it even an accredited college? or is it one of those, hey pay me an obscene amount of money and I will print you a certificate you can easily print at home with Word Doc and that pretty paper?
I am a student and I am employed as well. They are not paying me as a student, they are paying me as an employee. Meditec is a very ligitimate school and has A+ ratings with the BBB and AHDI. They are Accredited in Utah and moving towards accreditation nationally. They are working in conjunction with the DOD. The DOD has very strict standards that we have to go by.
I don't think being accredited in Utah will help many marine wives transfer classes elsewhere as most bases aren't located by there. Are you in the area here?
We don't qualify for MYCCA either but I used it luckily before the rules were changed. I jumped on that like white in rice.
-We are a member of the AHDI (Association of Health Documentation and Integrity). -Some of the courses are also accredited by the NHA (National Health Association). Colleges and universities need accreditation as they offer degree programs with transferable credits. Vocational schools (like Meditec) do not offer degree programs or transferable college credits so we do not have accreditation in that sense. The courses that we offer, as vocational certificate programs, do not require accreditation. Please note that we are licensed by the state of Utah and we are registered with the Utah Board of Regents as an online vocational training school. We are members of the BBB with a stellar rating and have been in business since 1969. Meditec is a division of 360training and we are accredited by IACET - the International Association for Continuing Education and Training. You can find us in the "IACET Directory" section at: http://www.iacet.org/ (Organization name is 360training).
