Does anyone know of any death benefits for a Marine who separated in the last year? From my knowledege and what I have found online benefits cease when the Marine gets out. I didn't think it would hurt to ask. Any information at all would help.

Unless they have VGLI, which is the Veterans life insurance. I am not sure of anything else.

as long as they are still legally married she would get the money! I'm pretty sure she meant separated from the Marine Corps. Not to mention that your statement isn't necessarily true.
