I am renewing this subject for any new comers to the Underground here. The Salvation Army in Jacksonville, NC runs all 4 local stores, but not for the right reasons. They have the tiny one in Maysville, 2 in Jacksonville and the one in Sneads Ferry. I have witnessed the actual thefts, deceit, and hypocrisy in the Sneads Ferry Store when I was a volunteer there for many quite a few years. I was fired as a volunteer, for speaking up, acknowledging their unlawful practices, and FOR NOT ATTENDING CHURCH WHERE AND WHEN THE store manager and supervisor and 2 other volunteers attend. AND no it was not the Salvation Army Church, but one called LIFEWALK. Yes I am preturbed by the treatment I received from them after volunteering an average of 1200 hours each year. Until the Majors and any management over the Sneads Ferry store are eliminated all goodness which donators think they are doing by donating to them in Sneads Ferry are such a waste of good intentions. The Mgrs. of that store and the husband/wife volunteer team carry out all valuable items for themselves free. The older female volunteer..S.. goes through all the jewelry donated and picks out all real silver and gold and sells it at the pawnshop in Clayton, NC, of which use to belong to her son-in-law. She also collects multiple new clothes, antiques, designer purses, shoes and clothes and sells them at a yard sale at her Daughter's home in Clayton, NC. This is not what people donate their items to that store for. The Managament take anything they want for their church and personal use. Also I have recently been able to contact the state level healt dept. to let them know that they are still selling mattressses and box springs out of the Sneads Ferry Store WITHOUT having them sanitized. People can be taking bed bugs home and not be aware of it. The hypocrisy covers all presently working at that store with claiming to be ALL MIGHTY FOLLOWING CHRISTIANS. They are liars, thieves, ex-addict, current alcoholic, and prejudice volunteers. Hypocrits at the highest levels! Please think before you donate to the SNEADS FERRY SALVATION ARMY STORE IF YOU WANT YOUR DONATIONS TO REALLY BENEFIT THE NEEDY IN THE LOCAL AREA BECAUSE THE DONATIONS DO NOT!
