Hey thinking about switching from Bank of America to either navy or marine. Which do you guys recommend? Thanks :) 

we have NavyFed and they have always been great for us. :) 

I've had Navy Fed for 18 years. Never had a problem with them. They've always been great. 

We have Navy Fed. No issues yet. 

We had Marine Fed for 6 years and recently switched to USAA. I hate Marine Fed. Their customer service is awful, and we had a few issues with identity theft just before we switched, and they made the whole situation much harder to resolve than it had to be.

USAA is great so far, though. 

I've had Marine Fed for 11 years, no issues at all. 

Navy Federal all the way. Great customer service! At least from my experience. 

We've had Navy Fed for 22 years & never had an issue. Our main account is with USAA; both are great. I had an account with MarineFed when we first got to Jville and wasn't impressed.

navy fed great bank not to mention they were the first to put out they would froward pay the military if the government shutdown that has to stand for something 

DH has had the same Navy Fed account for 12 years w/no complaints. We also have Marine Fed and BOA for other accounts, but we prefer Navy Fed. 

We have USAA(cpl of yrs), Marine Fed(11 yrs) and Navy Fed(cpl of yrs) and never had any problems with any of them but we like USAA best.

Also have an account with that new Coastal bank near Piney Green(name slips my mind) but it's for our kids and only deal with that account once a yr..lol and have had no problems with them either.

We have both, but have had better luck being stationed near NFCU than MFCU. Something to look into, or think about.


I've had the MFCU account since it was my rainbow savers, so like 30+ years. Never had any issues with them, but we haven't used them as our main account for many many years. 

I have had an acount with NFCU for over 40 years and no problems. Daughter has an account with MCFCU for several years and no problems that I've heard of. I wouldn't bank at the BOA if they were the only bank on earth. DH decided to split up our account about 5 yrs ago with a checking, savings which was OK until I read the statements that they were deducting $10.00 a month cause we didn't use it at least once a month. Plus when they decided to open up accounts for illegal immigrants coming to USA, DH closed all the accounts and stuck with NFCU. 

We have NFCU and LOVE them. Never had any problems and their customer service has always been great for us. We don't plan on switching. 

I've had a NFCU account for about 15 years. Hate them.

Our direct deposit and bank we use the most is BOA and I like them. 

We've been with NFCU for almost 12 years now, never have had a problem with them, great customer service, love their rewards credit card, and we plan on keeping them even when my husband retires. 

We have Navy Fed and my paycheck goes to a local bank. we like having both since there are no local Navy Fed's around here. the nearest one is 2 hours away. 

I have accounts at both but use MFCU primarily. I love them. I've never had any problems at all. 

I have both also. NavFed has better loan rates.
