...to mow the lawn in a few minutes! It's not going to be fun!

I need advice though, it's the backyard, front yard, and a 6 foot wide section all the way down the block. Do I leave the kids in the house while I do the back yard, then bring them out and lock them in the yard to play while I do the side and front? Do I leave them inside the whole time? I can't bring them out while I'm doing the back and have them in the yard, too dangerous imo.

I would mow the back while they are napping. Then the front later when it's cooler and I could take them outside, assuming they aren't terrified of the mower. 

I agree w/ LM back while napping. Maybe the front/side after they go to bed, if they go down early that is, then you don't have to worry about them and it won't be as hot.

They aren't scared of the mower. I'm scared they'll run out in front of me or a rock will shoot out and hit them in the face or something. 

They don't nap! I would go crazy if my kids didn't nap. :P 

Ryan is terrified of the vaccum. I have to hold him while I do it. so, I'm not sure how he would react to the mower. Ryan takes a 2 hour nap each afternoon, but Laynie hasn't napped regularly in about a year. She actually took a 2 hour nap a few weeks ago and I was surprised, but when I noticed that DH was watching Red Cliff instead of cartoons, I understood. We had family naptime that day, none of us could stay awake through that. lol! 

They don't nap! I would go crazy if my kids didn't nap. :P

I'm pretty much on the verge of rubber room. Jake used to nap but stopped when we got here.
