Well, yesterday I dropped a little ove $400 for groceries etc, been costing me more since DD and Granddaughter have moved in with us and they were getting ready for the Case Lot Sale. So talked DH into going out there today. Had a nice selection of all kinds of things, expecially canned veggies and fruits and I would say it was totally worthwhile. However forgot that today was a military payday shopping day for groceries and when we went inside to pay for the outside stuff we bought, the line was from the cash registers clear around to the counter where they had cheese for sale. Lines did go fairly fast and am wondering why it did not occur to some genuis to put a cash register or two outside for ringing up the items at the case lot sale,I certainly are gonna contact them and make the suggestiong. Only took us an hour to get off Base due to fact everyone was getting off early for the holiday. All in all, except for the fact that DH was a grouch, all went well. 

They've had registers out there before for the case lot sales. They probably forgot or they were broken. 

we went today and the sale was pretty good but it was the first time Id been to lejeune since dh works on the air station and boy i havent been in traffic like that in awhile but i guess thats to be expected with it being a holiday and people getting off at noon payday and the case lot sale. guess it was worth it though especially since we have 2 extra for the summer. they had a lot more stuff than the air station had for their sale.

We went to the commissary and I got to the grapes and turned around and left. I hate going to the commissary on paydays but I go every Friday. =( 

I thought payday was tomorrow, so I specifically went today. Big mistake. I got a few great deals, but I'll be doing the big shop tomorrow or next week. I missed half my list because I didn't have the will to navigate the insane isles.
