I checked the search bar, but couldn't find this one!I even checked their site :) I've been told if you deliver there, they take the baby to the nursery at night. Is that optional or mandatory? And are they accepting of scheduled C-sections or do they try to push VBAC on you? 

Yes, they will take the baby at night if you want them too. It depends on your Dr concerning the VBAC. I had a scheduled c-section but the baby was breech. No problem there though. 

VBAC - Depends upon your Dr. Nursery - it is an option for them to take your baby for the night. If you are BFing, they will wake you up every 3 hours so you can feed the baby. 

Thanks, I was told it was mandatory, and I'm so excited I have the option to keep the baby with me! I guess I'll just cross my fingers on the VBAC thing. 

I had each of my kids taken to the nursery at night. After what I just did I needed those last couple of nights :) I heart onslow L&D 

@ OMH, they let me keep H in the room with me the entire time except for when they needed to do tests or weigh her and all that good stuff. I heart onslow L&D as do i... :) 

I heart onslow L&D Me too! I did not want to go home. THey are quick to answer and ordered food from the cafeteria because the hospital food was terrible. THey even went to the cafeteria to get me coke and snacks. I love OMH! They are aweome on the peds floor too, we were just there over last weekend for a line infection for Connor You have the option to keep the baby with you and yes, c-sections are fine. If it is scheduled they do what the plans are. It is the OB you are seeing who will mandate what you get (unless the baby decides otherwise).
