Well even though I am pro-choice even I wouldn't go there for that very reason. 

I wish stupid tricare would send me to an actual gyno instead of having the "family practice" do it. ICK I don't want that yucky ol man touching my hoo haa!!

I just use my family practice Dr (we go in town) I like My Dr though, so no complaints, and have only had to have a yearly checkup anyway. Other than obgyn's when having my kids, I don't think I have ever went to a gyn specialist (Is that what you would call it? lol)

tricare makes you have your PCM do it? As far as I know they do. We have MedCare as our PCM (we have Tricare prime) and that's where I go for my yearly exams. But they have a nice-looking young dr there, so I don't mind :P Seriously though, if I had any real health issues, I'm sure I could get a referral for a gyno. 

I just tell myself that they see this stuff everyday to try and relax myself, because no matter what it is awkward lol.

Mine is a total creap.... I'm seriously REALLY worried about going in a few weeks. He freaks me out!! =( I don't know what to do. I asked for a different dr when I made my apt. and they told me he was the only one available. I wanted to scream... UM ITS THE FREAKIN NAVAL HOSPITAL! THERES MORE THAN ONE DR!!!

Mine is off base at Southwest Medical I only have gone for a checkup once and she seemed nice

I don't like that the Crist Clinic does abortions but Naval wouldn't see me and that is where I was sent. I see Dr. Melanson (sp?) and she's been super helpful in diagnosing and treating me

I go to the crist clinic for my ob and they are very nice, and I've had never had any problems with them...I didn't even know they did abortions until after I started going there...when I was preggo in 07 (lost it though but it had nothing to do wit them) I was seeing Dr. Alverado but she had stopped doing pre natal care. I LOVED HER!!! she is so sweet 

I liked Dr. Edwards office. :) I also go to Dr. Edwards. He is great.
